Create a Survey Report from Google Forms
To save a Survey Report from Google Forms that includes all CHARTS and complete open-ended TEXT RESPONSES.
Note: there may be a better way if you are fluent with creating reports out of Google Sheets, but this is a handy and quick back-end trick.
- In Google Forms, go to the RESPSONES tab
- Click the 3-dot “MORE” icon at the top of the page next to the SAVE button (not the 3 dots next to the spreadsheet icon)
- Click PRINT. This will open the responses report, but cuts off the open-ended text responses
- Right-click anywhere on the page
- Click SAVE AS
- Select save as Document type WEBPAGE, COMPLETE
- Click SAVE and save in the folder you are using for this project
- Go to the folder
- Open the file you just created. It will appear as an html document type. Some formatting will be lost, but all content is preserved
- Right-click anywhere on the page
- Select PRINT
- Select SAVE as Pdf
- Save in your folder & it’s ready to print and share
