WHERE: We would perform three or four times including performances with other choirs. The highlight would be our performance at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.https://www.edfringe.com/ We would explore the Highlands including Loch Lomond, then north to. Inverness., Much of the itinerary will be finalized based on suggestions from participants. For example, I’d love to see the castle where Monty Python’s Holy Grail was filmed. Tourist attractions could include tours of distilleries, traditional music gatherings, the home of Robert Burns, and/or a Loch Ness cruise. The best moments on any trip, of course, are the unscheduled ones.
HOW MANY: We would limit the trip to one bus load (44 max). The minimum would be 25. Spouses and guests would be welcome if space permitted.
WHO: Nick Page will conduct and Jonathan Singleton will join us on piano and will be featured on a new piece being composed for our 30thanniversary. In addition, Jonathan will lead one of his songs.
WHAT: The songs will be chosen from both the Fall and Spring concerts. This Fall the chorus returns to the theme of love songs and our Spring theme is GLORY with songs of great power celebrating life, justice, and the pursuit of wonder.
HOW MUCH: $3,800-$4,400 per person based on double-occupancy (The more people who sign up, the lower the cost). The cost includes flight, guided tours, two meals per day, accommodation, ground transport and a day pass to the Fringe Festival where we can attend a huge variety of performances.
