Mystic Chorale’s 35th Anniversary Concert

Come revel with Mystic Chorale this spring as we spend the whole season celebrating 35 years of music-making!  Welcoming all who love to sing since 1989, we have wowed audiences with music from a wide range of musical eras, genres, cultures, and traditions in concerts that have featured passionate Mystic singers and guest artists, top notch bands, and enthusiastic audiences.

This spring 180 Mystic singers will revisit many of the gems we’ve sung over the decades, led by music director Mike Pfitzer. We’ll bring back some of our favorite guests too!

Ten weeks of rehearsals begin Tuesday, March 25, 7:30-9:30 at First Parish Church, 630 Mass Ave, in Arlington. We’ll perform a rousing concert at Cary Hall in Lexington on Saturday, May 31.

Whether you’re a Mystic veteran, have taken a break, are brand new to the group, or even new to community singing in general, we hope you’ll join us for a powerful and emotionally connected Mystic Chorale Spring!

HEALTH & SAFETY

• Covid Vaccinations: Proof of vaccination is not required.
• Masks Optional:  Singers may sing masked or unmasked, as a matter of their personal comfort and preference.  We ask unmasked singers to stay aware and respectful of masked singers who may want to keep their distance from others without masks.
  
• Please review our Health and Safety Guidelines before signing up.

You can sign up to sing as an in-person singer or a virtual singer.

VIRTUAL SINGING OPTION – For those who wish to participate from afar or who simply aren’t ready for live singing, we are excited to offer the option of joining as a virtual singer. The rehearsals and concert will be livestreamed and recorded, and the recordings will be posted on the Mystic Chorale website a few days later.  All virtual singers will receive PDF files of the music packet and access to all practice materials.

Please note that virtual singers may not perform in the concert, but you will receive a free livestream concert ticket as part of your tuition.
