Special guest artist Athene Wilson is an award-winning jazz, gospel and R&B vocalist. Her singing career began at the tender age of seven in a small Pentecostal church in Jamaica, where she sang in several church choirs until her transition to Boston where she started her professional singing career.  Athene has toured nationally and internationally to great acclaim, and has accompanied Patti LaBelle, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson and James Taylor as a background singer.   As our special 30th anniversary guest soloist, Athene Wilson is sure to lift Mystic Gospel to new heights!
