Join Mystic Chorale on Friday, June 10 at 8:00 at Cary Hall, 630 Mass. Ave, Lexington, MA as we celebrate our connections to each other in ARISE!

In his penultimate season before stepping down as Artistic Director next December after 32 years, much-beloved Founder Nick Page will lead a performance that promises to lift our spirits and souls. This concert is sure to be both exhilarating and stirring as we begin to bid him farewell.

The program begins with a rousing Glory Glory and closes with a triumphant Pass Me Not. Wonder and joy fill the concert from Joseph Shabalala’s Moon is Walking to Nick’s powerful arrangement of Linda Hirschhorn’s setting of Lo V’Chayil (Not By Might, But With Love), with lift-us-to-the-sky percussion.  Drums are also central to a rousing South African Haleluya. Fittingly, the chorus will sing A Parting Glass, a Celtic song of farewell.

The chorus is joined by the amazing Louise Grasmere on vocals plus the great Donnell Patterson, who leads two inspirational songs.

Mystic is thrilled to be singing live again, but during these times of Covid, our #1 priority is the health and safety of all. We are paying close attention to the latest guidance from the CDC and other sources regarding the spread of the virus and its variants and recommended safety precautions and are setting safety protocols above and beyond what the State of Massachusetts requires. Accordingly, all present at the concert will be required to show proof of full vaccination and wear masks.
