This spring 175 Mystic Chorale singers explore the parallels between the cycle of seasons and the ebbs and flows of our lives in SEASONS OF CHANGE, led by Mike Pfitzer. The program includes songs in a range of musical styles, including The Fantasticks’ Try to Remember, Harry Belafonte’s version of Malvina Reynolds’ Turn Around, Carole King’s You’ve Got a Friend, Joni Mitchell’s Circle Game, Pete Seeger’s Turn, Turn, Turn, Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, and more. The concert connects seasons of Mystic’s past and present, including Mystic favorite, Every Day is a Day of Thanksgiving, led by visiting Mystic Chorale Founder, Nick Page!
Keith Murphy and Becky Tracy, dynamic performers of the traditional music of Newfoundland, Quebec, Ireland, France and beyond, are featured guests. Becky’s amazing fiddle playing ranges from lively dance tunes to traditional slow airs. Keith plays guitar and sings in English and French.
