Bev Roche has been singing with Mystic for the past 12+ years. A retired educator, with a need to be involved in something meaningful, she loves to sing; it keeps her going, bringing comfort and joy. For two hours a week, the singing allows her to put everything but this joy out of mind.

Even though she had never attended a Mystic concert or been part of such a large group, she was immediately hooked that first Gospel 2012 season and began volunteering the following season. Within a couple years she was invited to join the Board and took on the role of production chair. It takes a village to produce a concert and Bev enjoys the challenge of helping to make it all happen.

Although Bev stepped back for a bit in 2019 when she lost her husband and was caring for two elderly parents, she slowly picked up volunteer roles again and has worn many hats over the years: producer, stage manager, attendance monitor and also monitors the info@mysticchorale.org email box. Bev re-joined the Board in August of 2024 and continues as the production chair.
