Originally from Puerto Rico, Rosi Amador was born to Puerto Rican and Argentine performer parents who deeply instilled in her their love of music and the spoken word. While raising her bilingually in both Latin & North America, they emphasized the importance of speaking, reading, writing and singing both English & Spanish with perfect enunciation and expression. After graduating from Bryn Mawr College, Rosi became a creative entrepreneur at a young age, as her parents had before her. She and her husband, Brian Amador (bilingual voice actor and composer/guitarist) founded two Latin music ensembles and continue to sing together part-time as Sol y Canto (est. 1994). They are the proud parents of twin daughters who are also bilingual voice actors and musicians.
Rosi is also much in demand as a professional bilingual voice artist who records voiceovers for clients all over the world. She is dedicated to using her voice talent to build cross-cultural bridges and bring compelling stories and messages to life in flawless, native English & Spanish and Hispanic-accented English.
Mystic Chorale is thrilled that Rosi is our featured guest this season!
