GLORY: A 30th Anniversary Celebration
Led by Nick Page
Join 200+ singers this spring as we raise our voices in celebration of our 30th anniversary. Led by Mystic Founder and Artistic Director extraordinaire, Nick Page, we will soar!
We’ve gone Virtual!
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are now rehearsing virtually, on Zoom, every Tuesday evening, and invite you to join us! Concert dates, below, are still on the books, but we will continue to monitor public health recommendations and make decisions about upcoming events accordingly. In the meantime, we invite you to join us as we sing our way through this challening time. If you have any questions, feel free to call our info line (781) 898-0121.
Nick shares his vision for the season:
“Every song tells a story; sing a thousand songs, tell a thousand stories. As a culmination of thirty amazing years of rising from the ordinary to the extraordinary, of joining in compassionate community, and of connecting all of our stories through song, the Mystic Chorale will celebrate one simple unifying story: When we sing, we become glorious.
“Our program brings back my song, We Pray, as well as Lonesome Valley and the rousing Pass Me Not. We will breathe new life into Bridge Over Troubled Water and the haunting Israeli Éli Éli. We will feature beautiful new songs, including Jean Rohe’s Arise! Arise! and The Tide Is Rising by former Mystic singer Rabbi Shoshana Meira Friedman. For those who love a greater challenge, the small chorus will be singing my song, Magnified in Glory. And in honor of our 30thAnniversary, we will premiere Glorious!, a special new piece I have composed for the occasion.
Come be part of what the Mystic Chorale does best… singing from our hearts, singing as community, bringing compassion to the world one glorious song at a time!
Singer fee: $105.
