Gospel music diehards and newcomers to the gospel scene alike will experience the through-the-roof energy of Mystic Gospel concerts as 250 members of Mystic Chorale sing an eclectic mix of spirituals, traditional gospel, and funky, upbeat contemporary selections that  will warm the soul and fill the heart!

Led by fabulous guest Music Director, Donnell Patterson, Mystic Gospel’s energizing 2017 program includes songs ranging from a haunting rendition of the spiritual “Give Me Jesus” to the lullaby “All My Trials” to an exuberant “One More Day”. Modern and contemporary gospel fans will also enjoy J.J. Hairston’s “Lord of All” and “I Have a Dream” based on text of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Some of Boston’s most entertaining and respected artists will be featured guests, including Sopranos Athene Wilson, Christina DeVaughn, and Sayida Rivers Farmer; Tenor Carl Corey; and saxophonist, Bobby Tynes. Band leader, Adonis Martin, leads the band that brings the house down each Sunday at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Cambridge, and the Chorale is thrilled to be joined by the Liturgical Dance Troupe from AME, led Janine Dailey.
